After receiving the lisence of Hai Phong Authority for Planning and Investment in January 2023, Lotus Link was established on Feb 02nd 2023 with total of investment capital of 60 million UD Dollars.

The establisment of Lotus Link is a result of a long-term planning and cooperation process with a 50-year strategic vision. Based on two well-known corporations, Lotus Link step by step will affirm the presence of a Vietnamese carrier in the Southeast Asian container shipping market and expand its reach throughout Asia. At the beginning of March 2023, Lotus Link officially launched 02 ships with a tonnage of 1,100 Teus to deploy a direct route between Vietnam - Malaysia:
