HAIAN GROUP has launched a new domestics services between HPH-Chan May- HCM

On December 25th 2022, at Thua Thien Hue province, HATS with Chan May port celebrated the new service HPH-Chan May- HCM. Hai An becomes the first domestic shipping line to operate container cargo at Chan May port, with the 1st laden voyage of M/V Haian View ( designed capacity 1.577 teu). There were 66 laden containers (108 TEU) equivalent to 1.961 tons at Chan May port that were loaded onto ships for transport to HCM.

 Hai An Lines' first container cargo ship entered Chan May Port for cargo handling. 

Attending the event, on the side of Thua Thien Hue province, there were Mr. Phan Quy Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, representatives of leaders of departments, boards, branches and businesses, partner. On the side of Chan May Port, there were Mr. Duong Ba Hoa - Chairman of the Board of Directors and representatives of the Port's leaders. On the side of HATS, there were Mr. Vu Thanh Hai – General director of the company and a representative of the Board of Directors of the Company.

Mr Vu Thanh Hai, General Director of Hai An Transport Stevdoring Joint-stock Company also spoke at the ceremony. 

Mr. Vu Thanh Hai - General Director of HATS sent his deep thanks to the authorities of Thua Thien Hue province, Chan May port, businesses and production facilities in the province had given valuable support and help for the Company to successfully launch a new domestic service to Chan May port. The General Director affirmed that in the coming time, Hai An committed to ensuring the routing of 2 voyages per week and actively contributing to the development of logistics activities in the province.
Mr. Hoang Oai - representative of Phenikaa Hue Minerals Processing and Investment One Member Co., Ltd, said that each year, the company's cost of transporting goods by container is about 40-42 billion, if Chan May port can exploit container, the Company will not have to transshipment to Da Nang or Ha Noi, thereby reducing the cost per year by 6-7%, equivalent to saving about 3 billion VND.

The first cargo container was loaded onto the ship and transported to HCM City.

With the advantage of fleet capacity, package logistics activities and diversity in domestic and intra-Asia transport routes, Hai An is not only meet the transportation demands of enterprises and production facilities when increasing goods, flights, but also connecting Thua Thien Hue province to the whole country, especially exporting cargo to Hong Kong and South China through Nansha port, Qinzhou.
