Lotus Link launches a new service to India

Lotus Link has recently announced a new direct service connecting Vietnam and India.

On August 3, 2023, the maiden voyage of the vessel HAIAN TIME, with capacity of 1,032 TEU, sailing from Hai An port (Hai Phong) to India, marking the official commencement of the new service. For this maiden voyage of the container ship, Lotus Link together with strategic partners, customers and agents had arranged full containers on the vessel from Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh to India. According to the plan, the 2nd and 3rd voyage will depart from Hai An port on August 17, 2023 and August 31, 2023.

The new service with the following rotation: Hai Phong (Hai An Port) – Ho Chi Minh (VICT Port) - Port K'Lang (West Port) - Kattupalli - Port K'Lang (West Port) – Ho Chi Minh (VICT Port) - Quang Ngai (Chu Lai Port) - Hai Phong (Hai An Port), with duration of 28 days per round trip.
Initially, Lotus Link will launch two vessels 1,032 TEU and 1,708 TEU. In the coming time, Lotus Link will increase the number of vessels and voyages depending on the market demand.

The direct service between Vietnam and India of Lotus Link will facilitate Vietnam's import-export goods to be transported directly to East Coast ports of India, without transshipments via Singapore or other ports. This helps shorten delivery time, reduce cost for customers, make practical contribution to market expansion and increase the competitiveness for Vietnam's import-export goods.
